SERVICES

Every Sunday we meet together to worship God in fellowship as a church family. Our service times are as follows:

10am

Communion is for church members (1 Corinthians 11:33) & visiting members of Biblical churches.

10.15am

Prayer meeting which is open to all and Catechism Class for children. This is a time set apart for children to be taught from the Scriptures which will include singing praise to the Lord and Scripture memorisation.

11am & 4.30pm

Our church services which include a time of praying, worship, a reading from the Bible and a sermon explaining the Bible passage. Refreshments are served at the close of the service which gives people the chance to fellowship together.

We invite people of any background, ethnicity, age and beliefs to visit us. We also run a short informal course called Christianity Explored if you are interested in finding out more about the Christian faith.

The Bible teaches clearly that the church is the 'Body of Christ' (Ephesians 5:23) and this means that Christianity isn't simply about meeting in a building on a Sunday. Every local church is a people who are united together in fellowship upon their profession of faith, being baptised and being added to the church membership. Therefore, we passionately pray that as you come to visit us you will see that church is not about a place to go to, but about a people to belong to.

In addition to meeting on a Sunday, our church gather for a weekly time of prayer on Wednesday evening at 6.45pm at our church building. This meeting is an opportunity for the church to study the Bible together and to pray to the Lord for one another, for our city and for other churches and current situations. We also have a young adults group which meets sporadically and a monthly men's & women's fellowship.
